Title: The Men With The Golden Cuffs
Series: Masters and Mercenaries #2
Author: Lexi Blake

Published: 29 May 2012

A woman in danger…
Serena Blake is a bestselling author of erotic fiction. She knows how to write a happy ending but hasn’t managed to find one of her own. Divorced and alone, she has no one to turn to when a stalker begins to threaten her life. The cops don’t believe her. Her ex-husband thinks she’s making the whole story up. She has no one left to turn to except a pair of hired bodyguards. They promise to guard her body, but no one can protect her heart.
Two men in search of love…
Adam Miles and Jacob Dean are halves of a whole. They’ve spent their entire adult lives searching for the one woman who can handle them both. Adam is the playful, indulgent lover, while Jacob is the possessive, loving Dom. When Serena comes into their lives, Adam is certain that she’s the one. But Jacob’s past comes back to haunt them all. He is suspicious of Serena’s story, and his concerns are driving a wedge between him and Adam. But when the stalker strikes, they will have to come together or lose each other forever…

Buddy Review with Maru, my bestest friend and buddy reader :)

Serena

Hi Maru, today I wanna interview you, to mix things up a bit :D What did you like most about Lexi Blake's "The Men with the Golden Cuffs?"
Hi Aly! I'm so excited to do the review like this :). What I liked the most was how relationship between the guys and Serena worked. When I read menage books I always think they won't work, but how Blake wrote the story it wouldn't work any other way.

What did you dislike?
The drama lama!

Would you change anything about the book?
No, even the all the drama works for the story

What did you think about Serena's agent's actions? Did you agree with her brand of promotion?
I think she should've hired me and I would've done a better marketing (and cheaper) campaign no need to get all psycho :)

What do you think about Serena? Does she fit with our merry band?
Yes! I really like her as a heroine and she fits perfectly, besides who wouldn't love a bdsm writer?

Now, the most important subject: the men :D How would you describe our 2 heroes in 3 words each?
Yikes, I suck at this part!
Adam: sex on a stick yummy, organized and overbearing
Jake: sex on a stick yummy, overprotective and I want one like him :)

Did you like Adam or Jake more? :D [PS Ian is ALL mine! No touching!]
Since I can't have Ian, can I pull a Serena and have them both? [good point :))]

Do you see their relationship working?
Yes, I would love to read in the upcoming books how it moves forward

Do you think a menage would work in real life?
I don't know...maybe? I'll let you know if it ever happens to me :P [please do =))]

About the other characters, now that you've found more about each, who's book can't you wait to read?
Of course Ian's book!!! And Eve and Alex's story

If any of the men in this book would ask you for a coffee(or more *wiggles eyebrows*), who would you wish him to be?
Why? Ian, by choosing him I think it's self explanatory LOL [no touching! You’ll lose fingers!]

What would you add that I haven't asked you about?
I think we pretty much covered everything....on a side note the steamy scenes were awesome :)

Anything you wish to ask me about the book? :D
I would like to know as well likes and dislikes aaand, if you think if menage would work in real life?
I love how they are with each other and all the characters of the series :D Hmm, the only dislike is the miscommunication, if they only talked more there wouldn’t have been so much drama and hurt *sigh*
I think it could work if they talked and discussed everything. And yes, if I ever get to it in RL I’ll let you know how we are doing :P

How would you rate this 2nd novel in the "Masters and Mercenaries" series?
4.5 stars
Exeactly as I would :D
